Hello, and what an honour to be working with a group of dynamic women like yourself in creating a new future for women and the world at large.

I am a producer and film maker, also an educator and passionate for social change through peace activism. There is no better way than women working together, we are naturally nurturing, caring, resourceful, loving and kind; when faced with a real challenge we literally have the strength and power to move mountains…need I say more ?

I see that we are now in the renaissance of the feminine principle guided by love and wisdom. This is our time to unite both our masculine and feminine qualities to create a shift, for me this is far beyond being a feminist or gender equality, it’s about supporting each other to harness our smart power and live our full potential for a world we all want.

I am so thrilled to be working with you, learning and playing together with you all.

As both 1st VP and Membership Chair of the new chapter of BPW Hong Kong, I’m super excited seeing it as a platform for women here in different ages, cultures, experiences and talents reaching out, joining hands, sharing love and support and above all inspiring and empowering each other.  I’m looking forward to working with our membership, and will be as supportive as possible.

Hello, and welcome to BPW Hong Kong’s website! I’m Dr Anne Hilty, a New York psychologist living in East Asia — Hong Kong and Korea — since 2005. I’m passionate about this region, about intercultural understanding, about women’s issues and the ongoing quest for gender equality and equal human rights for all — and, I’m passionate about BPW International!

This organisation has been working for the equality of women since it was founded in 1930. Since 1947, we have been advocating for women through the United Nations. Today, we have UN representatives in every one of its agencies, and our affiliates around the world are actively engaged in this endeavour.

I wish I could adequately convey to all of you the sheer joy to be found in this sisterhood. I’m involved with several committees and taskforces at the international level, am a member of the New York City affiliate, have served as international congress organizer, and now as president of this new Hong Kong affiliate. When I attend BPW conferences and events around the world, of course there is an incredible sharing of best practices and leadership training; but it is the sisterhood, the relationship and support with women in nearly 100 countries across the globe, that fills my heart.

Our startup team has been working quite diligently over the past year to re-establish BPW in Hong Kong, and we think that the focus we’re taking and initiatives we’ve outlined are exciting indeed. I invite you to become a member of our organisation. Most of all, I wish for you to experience the magnitude, the strength, and the love of this worldwide sorority that crosses all boundaries.
