Barbie’s contribution to women and girl’s empowerment is a hotly debated topic, which our panellists will discuss alongside challenging traditional female representation and unrealistic standards.

Young BPW Hong Kong – Barbie Private Screening

“We girls can do anything. Right, Barbie?”

From just a kid’s toy to stepping on the big screen, Barbie has continued to break stereotypes and embrace diversity. People have always doubted the ideal world of Barbie and how she is too perfect to be real. This summer, Barbie takes on an adventure to the real world and discovers the true meaning of her existence. Come along with fellow BPW sisters and find out more about Barbie!

Apart from the private screening, we’ll be hosting a “Breaking the Barbie stereotypes” panel discussion and a list of related online activities. Don’t hesitate to join us!

BPW Hong Kong Summer Retreat

BPW Hong Kong Summer Retreat 2023 was held on 17th June at The Helena May and the office of Womentors, with a series of program activities including action meeting, FFEPs brainstorming session, networking luncheon and D&I workshop. It is a fruitful retreat with ladies of great minds.

Twinning of BPW Hong Kong and BPW Brilliant Club Mongolia

BPW Hong Kong are delighted to establish amazing bonding and sisterhood with BPW Brilliant Club from Mongolia! The official Twinning Ceremony was conducted on 17th June 2023 during BPW Hong Kong’s Summer Retreat at The Helena May. Representatives from both clubs signed the sisterhood certification and pledge for constant cultural and business exchange opportunities. We look forward to more global connection with the BPW community worldwide.
