BPWHK AGM 2019 was successfully held earlier last Saturday (2.11.2019). The new ExCo (12/2019-12/2021) has been elected: Lisa Fong, President; Kelly Yeung, 1st VP (Membership); Olivia Natacha, 2nd VP (Projects); Annie Wong, Treasurer; Elaine Kwan, Young BPW Representative. Congratulations, everyone!!!💓🍾🥂🌹
Lisa Fong, the new president, appoints the following chairs and taskforce positions: Lena Wong, Programme Chair; Joscelin Yeung, International Relations Chair; Linda Lam, Public Relations Chair; Judy Tam, Chair of Advocacy Taskforce; Kayley Lo, Chair of Global Skills Taskforce; Vanessa Yue, Chair of Mentorship Taskforce; Bamei Chang & Mandy Lok, Co-Chair of Twinning Taskforce.
In the coming 2 years, we hope to bring the community and sisterhood closer together under the theme of ‘self-love’. We have ambitious and exciting plans ahead for our members – stayed tuned!😍

Shalini Mahtani is one of Hong Kong’s most authoritative and respected voices on social issues, particularly diversity and inclusion. Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women (BPWHK) is organizing a 3 tier mentorship program, which consists of seasoned mentors in the society, on entrepreneurship, on women’s empowerment, and on politics etc, our members (ladies with 5-10 years of work experience) will be the facilitators and work with younger generation from university. Together the team of 3 will work on a project that can solve a social issue. We are also looking to organize a pitching day in October to share the result of the social innovation program.

Mentors: 10 seasoned professionals from various organizations and associations
Members: 10 BPWHK members with 5-10 years of work experience, middle management level in their organizations
Mentees: 10 university students with passion in social innovation

Elaine is an accredited mediator and a registered IB educator specialized in teaching English and Literature of the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. She holds a Master degree in Global Public Policy from the University of Southern California and the University of Hong Kong as well as the MA in English Applied Linguistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Currently, Elaine is serving as an Executive Officer in the HKSAR Government. She enjoys organizing and participating in various kinds of volunteer services during her free time.
Kayley is the co-founder of JustWork who partners with HR professionals to offer brand new team building event and training experience.
Kayley holds a BA(Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Greenwich in UK and continue to study in professional development area: Psychology, Group Coaching and Coaching at University of Oxford.

Lena Wong

A marketer, an entrepreneur, an advocate and a mother, Lena has a strong calling to push forward workplace diversity and flexibility. She believes there should be no boundary to how works should be done. She was a finance professional who left behind her decent livings and devoted herself to the family when her first daughter was born. She has eventually landed herself in her own marketing consultancy for small enterprises and also dedicated herself in founding Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs – a non profit organization in Hong Kong supporting moms and families in their entrepreneurial journey. In her leisure time, Lena enjoys sipping a glass of wine or coffee with friends and she contributes herself as Advisor and Trainer at Junior Chamber International and as Mentorship Chair in HK Association of Business and Professional Women.
